Homepage[English]			If no Position Report of Final Report is received from a participant in no less than 24 hours subsequent to the previous report, the Japan Coast Guard will verify the safety and whereabouts of the ship through radio-telegraphic calls and inquiries addressed to the relevant coastal stations, ship-owners, agents and ships proceeding in the vicinity. Depending on circumstances, search and rescue operations will be initiated, and hence Position Reports or Final Reports shall be sent without fail.
