2. Prevention of marine accident around Daibahana in Kanmon Port (Refer to Fig. 14)(1) The vessel which tries to enter Kanmon Traffic Route from Kanmon Traffic Route No.2 orKanmon Traffic Route No.2 from Kanmon Traffic Route must avoid the course of the vesselnavigating in Kanmon Traffic Route. As measure,in early time, the vessel should reduce speedand take appropriate disposal.(2) The vessel should not overtake other vessels in the area from light buoy No. 7 to light buoy No.10 in Kanmon Traffic Route near Daibahana.(3) Vessels heading for the Daibahana area should get information of the passage navigating vesselbeforehand from the Kanmon Kaikyo Vessel Traffic Service Center (call ‘the center’ hereafter).And try not to meet a special vessel. But when meeting unavoidably, the vessel is expected to getinformation from the center and to grasp the position of the special vessel and navigate carefully.(4) The special vessel should make a report about own position to the center beforehand and take thecooperation continuously with the center and pay attention to the position of the other vesselsufficiently.
