Nagoya Port and adjacent watersIn order to facilitate safe and efficient navigation in Nagoya Port area and adjacent waters, Nagoya-Ko(Port) Vessel Traffic Service Center (herein after referred to as “the Center”) under the 4th RegionalCoast Guard Headquarters gives guidance on safe navigation by requesting the sailing plan and/or theposition report from designated VTS users.1. Designated vessels should report the following information to the Center.(1) Information based on the Act on Port Regulations① Pre-entry reporta. Items to be reportedSee the attached sheetb. Reporting proceduresFollowing 3 ways are available.(a) By VHF-FM radio communicationYour information is accepted by the JCG communication Station, call sign “Nagoya Hoan” inJapanese or “Nagoya Coast Guard Radio” in English, under the 4th Regional Japan Coast GuardHeadquarters.
