Collision①Japanese Cargo Ship 695t②Southbound Vessel ※ Types of vessel & gross tonnage unknownJuly 11th, 2004Uraga Suido Around 20:15, in the Uraga Suido Traffic Route, a cargo ship bound to Chibafrom Oita was entering the South Traffic Route sailing between Uraga SuidoTraffic Route Central No.1 light buoy and Uraga Suido Traffic Route CentralNo.2 light buoy. This created a risk of collision between the ship and asouthbound vessel. Tokyo Wan Vessel Traffic Service Center had accordinglyprovided both of the vessels and vessels around the area with the properinformation.
