Fishing Gear and Fishing Methods(1) Trawlnet fisheriesFig. R-1 Trawl NetThe major trawl net fishing methods are as follows.1) Small motorboat trawlingThis is a trawl net fishing method using a small motorboat with a gross tonnage of less than15 tons. There are several variations in this trawl net fishing method. Generally, it is carried outby one motorboat but in some cases, it is done by two boats. (See Figs. R-2 and R-3)
