Mobile Cooperation Team provided capacity-building support to Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) personnel on maritime law enforcement as well as search and rescue at the SLCG Training Center in Kirinda, Sri Lanka. We will continue to build trust through consultations and efforts to respond to the needs of our counterparts to implement more consistent and sustainable capacity-building support. The JCG will continue to strengthen cooperation and collaboration with the coast guard agencies of other countries to realize a Free and Open IndoPacific, while promoting capacity-building support for the countries in the Indo-Pacific region.
