The MCT and a JCG expert conducted lectures on maritime crime investigations and search and rescue at the VCG District 1 Headquarters in Hai Phong through the JICA framework.
They also provided training in arresting techniques necessary for suspect apprehension as well as rope works required for maritime rescue, thereby supporting the enhancement of VCG's capabilities.
The JCG will continue to strengthen cooperation and collaboration with the coast guard agencies of other countries to realize a Free and Open Indo-Pacific, while also promoting capacity-building support for countries in the Indo-Pacific region.
