Capacity Building Support for the Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) （Overview）

We provided capacity building support to Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) personnel on maritime law enforcement as well as search and rescue in Kirinda, Sri Lanka.

We will continue to build trust through consultations and other efforts to carefully address the needs of our counterparts, and effectively implement more consistent and sustainable capacity building support.The JICA technical cooperation project on oil spill response, which had been implemented since 2014, was completed in June this year.
