The mission conducted a"Towing Drills"by using a 44-meter Multi Role Response Vessel and a 24-meter class Fast Patrol Boats; both of which were previously given by Japan, and provided practical guidance on techniques necessary for towing and guidance and advice on the towing manual prepared by FETDDI, which is one of the PCG constituent organizations. The JCG also instructed FETDDI staff and instructor candidates, on towing techniques to improve their skills.

The JCG will continue to strengthen cooperation with other coast guard agencies to realize a"Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP)". The JCG will also actively engage in providing technical assistance to coast guard agencies in the Indo-Pacific region.
