The MCT continues to support BAKAMLA in enhancing its　maritime law enforcement capabilities. We conducted suppression training on arresting techniques for BAKAMLA personnel to subdue suspects who resist at the scene of maritime law enforcement during this dispatch. This training was a wonderful opportunity to foster future BAKAMLA instructors, with the goal of enabling BAKAMLA to develop its own human resources in the future. Additionally, the Vice Commandant for Operations of the Japan Coast Guard KANOSUE and Rear Admiral of BAKAMLA SAMUEL KOWAAS observed the training which contributed to deepen mutual understanding between the two coast guard agencies.
